Here’s How You Can Earn the SPURS Fan Token By Staking Crypto on the OKX Exchange

The OKX cryptocurrency exchange has announced that its Jumpstart platform will be featuring SPURS, the fan token of popular football club Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Users on OKX will have the opportunity to earn SPURS tokens by staking CHZ, the native token of the Chiliz project. Alternatively, users will also be able to earn CHZ by staking the OKX exchange's OKB token. The program will kick off at 6:00 AM UTC on October 23, and conclude at 6:00 AM UTC on October 26.

A total of 500,000 SPURS tokens, which corresponds to 1.25% of the total supply, will be distributed to stakers on OKX. Please note that only users that have a verified account on OKX can participate, and the program is only available to users from East Asia (excluding the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, Mongolia, North Korea and Japan).

How to earn SPURS tokens on OKX?

The process of participating on OKX jumpstart and earning SPURS tokens is very simple:

Make sure you have the OKX app and a verified account. Transfer CHZ and/or OKB tokens to your funding wallet. Go to the "Grow" section of the OKX app and and select Jumpstart. Select "Stake" and input the number of CHZ and/or OKB you want to stake.

After staking either CHZ or OKB tokens to earn SPURS, you can unstake your tokens at any time with no penalties. (6:00 AM UTC on October 26). If you don't unstake your tokens manually, they will be automatically unstaked after the staking period ends.

The maximum amount of CHZ tokens that can be staked by a single user is set at 150,000 CHZ, while the limit is set at 200 tokens for OKB stakers.

SPURS is the fan token connected to Tottenham Hotspur FC, a club playing in the premier league, which is the top division of English football. As one of the top clubs in England, the "Spurs" have earned a sizeable fanbase both domestically and worldwide.
